Mutsuko’s party is set for Sunday afternoon. As the Japanese do not celebrate birthdays, she has missed out on the typical games. Given that she is turning 17 though and her friends will be from the 6th form, it will not be appropriate to inflict most traditional games on them.
We have therefore borrowed Giant Jenga from Mark and Patience. This has a number of steel balls that are hidden away in the blocks. They drop out when blocks are withdrawn and the drawer is then required to complete a forfeit. Should be fun. Mark dropped it off when taking the kids to school.
Izi also dropped off her karate kit ready for the evening. Host Father has been away most Wednesdays this year to date so it will be odd for all to have him around this evening.
