Enjoyed sharing my a birthday breakfast with my brother, +Mike Moore and my SO, +Lucy Moore, to help him celebrate. He did seem a little embarrassed drinking alone when he was presented with a complimentary coffee to mark the occasion though. 2013-11-25 via Public RSS-Feed of Stuart Moore. +David Ferriday+Zoë Moore mentioned that the new Windows 8 laptop you received for your birthday is not a touch screen. Cheaper but not very convenient.I recommend you look at Stardock for a replacement start button and ability to boot directly to the desktop and also at their modernmix addon. There are free alternatives to these cheap products but these are well worth the money. Free 30 day trials available. Also, you might want to take a look at the Logitech Wireless Touchpad as another option Read more […]

It is a strange feeling. Really, nothing has changed since the day before, but everything has changed. One of my two children (daughters both) has turned 18. As 16th birthday treat, my younger daughter and three of her friends went to see Phantom of the Opera in London last night. They enjoyed.
It was my brother’s birthday this weekend. As it happens, he was celebrating at The Stiperstones Inn, a traditional ale house and hostel type place set in the heart of the South Shropshire Hills. As I was picking up my eldest from a training course in near-by Shrewsbury, it was easy for us to drop in for an evening meal. Our stay was relatively brief as both my daughters were tired (one from being in a musical show for the preceding few days and the other from training) but it was enough Read more […]
I shall originally scheduled to do three model shoots this weekend but I cancelled the third shoot that was set for Sunday so I could do some work. The afternoon model for Saturday cancelled shortly before she was due because her baby-sitter had let her down. It became more complex though because my youngest daughter Read more […]
Ah, the joys of a birthday on a Friday just before a holiday. A great excuse to have the day off. Travelled home last night at a reasonable time (which took a special effort). Kids were at school, wife at work so just me, the fish and the dogs for most of the day. It was really good to relax. Normally when heading off on a camping holiday, I would arrive home lateish on the Friday evening and complete frantic packing of the car to complement the impressive packing of the substantial trailer.
